Thursday, March 8, 2012

Take advantage of wine tasting in the Tuolumne County, and, although some of the vineyards have only been making their wines for a few years, their local family histories and wine making practices are part of a legacy that stretches back for generations.

La Bella Rosa Vineyards - A rustic style tasting room surrounded by a beautifully landscaped gardens and pictureqsue pond. While winetasting you can shop in their extensice giftshop and then take a stroll through the gorgeous gardens. What a great way to spend an afternoon! The wine has a tuscan flair and are handmade in small batches.

Mt Brow Winery - Family owned and operated, this winery has made wine for many years just to share with friends and family in celebration of life and heritage. With a little push from local demand, the winery was licensed in 2003 and soon after released their wine as well as opened a tasting room.

Angels Flight Winery - This winery and tasting room offers a beautiful, tranquil setting for sharing special times with great wines and friends. The winery also has a very special location, operating in the historic district in Senora out of an almost 100 year old church.
