No Parking at Muir Beach? No Problem!
Monday, June 10, 2013
Starting in July, the National Park Service is closing the parking lot at Muir Beach until at least November 2013, so the Pelican Inn is offering parking and the trail in front of the hotel is still open to walk to the beach!
Overnight guests, as always park for free and dining guests will be allowed 2 hours of free parking, and then charged a reasonable hourly rate after that. There will be fewer day trippers so the beach won’t be as crowded, making this summer the perfect time to come for a visit.
Nestled in close to Muir beach and woods:
Pelican Inn, Muir Beach, CA
Known for its hospitable and classic English style, the Pelican Inn provides an ideal getaway for those looking for a great place to stay near the beach. And, as an added bonus, the Inn's pub offers really well crafted British fare such as fish and chips, prime rib and yorkshire pudding as well as a great selection of beer and wine!
