Carter House

Mark and Christi Carter led the redevelopment of Eureka’s once-forgotten Old Town when they created their first Victorian Mansion. Today, the Carters provide outstanding hospitality in four gracious Victorians offering a wide variety of stylish, uncluttered rooms with luxurious amenities, original local art, and plush furnishings. Eureka’s Old Town has become a major destination. Surrounded by more than 1,600 historically significant Victorian structures, the Hotel provides the perfect gourmet getaway in the heart of the Redwood Coast. The Carter’s wine cellar is among the world’s finest, while their Restaurant 301 is one of Northern California’s best, providing garden-to-table cuisine.
