"Great location, great inn and great hosts"

I have visited the Fairhaven Village Inn for many years and this is the only place I stay when going to Bellingham. Instead of being located along a busy interstate highway interchange, the Village Inn is beautifully situated in the historic Fairhaven neighborhood in Bellingham. Half of the inn's rooms overlook Bellingham Bay and the others overlook a wonderful town green. All the rooms are over-sized and, if you are lucky enough to find it available, their grand suite is really that and worthy of a presidential visit. The continental breakfast offered each morning is generous and fresh. If you leave the breakfast room hungry it is your own fault. The inn is wonderfully situated in the historic area of Bellingham and once you park the car, virtually everything is within easy walking distance. There are numerous shops, restaurants, pubs and entertainment to be had within minutes if your room. But the best part of staying at the Fairhaven Village Inn has to be the staff...courteous, caring, helpful, funny and people you would like to have as your good friends.
