McCloud Hotel McCloud, CA
At the foot of Mount Shasta, in an historic company mill town established in the 1880's is the McCloud Hotel. Meticulously restored by innkeepers Lee and Marilyn Ogden, the hotel is a Nationally Registered Historic Landmark. Midway between Redding and Medford and on the main thoroughfare to Burney Falls, Reno and Mt. Lassen, the McCloud Hotel is designed to meet the expectations of today's traveler, whether passing through or staying over to enjoy magnificent Mt. Shasta Recreational area. Rooms and suites are delightful, with furniture rescued and restored from the original hotel, and offer views overlooking the town and surrounding area. The lobby's aged pine paneling and the original registration desk evoke a sense of bygone times and contemporary romance.
