Halibut Ceviche

From Abigail's Hotel in Victoria, British Columbia

This tasty halibut ceviche recipe from Abigail's Hotel is refreshing and refined. Just the thing for a hot summer day, enjoy on butter lettuce or serve with tortilla chips.


  • 1 pound of fresh Halibut (skinless)
  • Zest and juice of one each - Orange, Lemon, Lime
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 ounce Triple Sec
  • 1 ounce Tequila
  • 3 Green Onions chopped


Slice the Halibut fillet in half lengthwise, then slice thin (1/4 inch thick). Mix well with all ingredients. Let sit in the fridge for 1-2 hours. Taste and add salt if needed. Serve immediately on a leaf of Butter Lettuce
