"One of Our Best Memories"

My husband and I spent a night at your inn early in April.  It was one of the most hospitable experiences we have ever had.

We both travel extensively both for business and pleasure so we recognize ‘going above and beyond’ when we experience it.  We came to Sandpoint by train.  We arrived around 1:00 am. The night desk clerk was kind enough to send a taxi to get us.  When we got to the Inn he had upgraded us to a suite. After the long hours on the train having the additional space, the flat screen televisions, the plush bed and the huge bathroom was really heaven. 

When we awoke the next morning there was a note under our door saying that since we arrived so late our check out time was extended by an hour to give us a bit more time to rest.  Our train was not leaving until late that night.   The hotel staff was gracious enough to let us store our luggage while we went into Sandpoint to explore. The morning desk clerk gave us great information about where to go and what to see.

We spent the day enjoying Sandpoint and returned to the hotel around 6:00 pm.  We were able to enjoy the beautiful parlor and sitting area until it was time for us to depart to catch our train to Portland.  While we were waiting the evening desk clerk offered to make us tea, talked to us about the hotel and Sandpoint and just generally made our last hours in Sandpoint very pleasant.

In addition the wonderful hospitality, your inn is the epitome of luxury.  The view from the balconies is breathtaking. I cannot imagine a more romantic, hospitable place anywhere. Thanks you so much for making the Sandpoint Inn one of our best memories.
