On the site of Catalina's former gentlemen's club, Rock and Kathleen Gosselin and Carl Lambert have created Avalon's premier boutique inn. Constructed with meticulous detail, the hotel has a distinctively Californian craftsman's style.Inspired by Greene and Greene, the owners have incorporated hand-crafted mahogany, etched slate, stained glass and hand-made tiles into their classically designed building. Custom furnishings are styled from the craftsman era as well. Rooms also feature local artwork and many look out over the scenic harbor. The rooftop deck offers a 360-degree view, inclusive of the town of Avalon and its harbor. The effect is understated elegance that befits Catalina Island.
