Featuring: Portland Mayor's Mansion in Portland, OR

“Located outside of the city center, but in a wonderful area, backing onto Laurelhurst Park. It is a short walk to numerous (and excellent) restaurants and is only a short bus ride into Portland. We bought an all day ticket for $5 which included travel on all buses and trains around the city which even takes you around Washington Park.

The Mayor's Mansion has a wonderful Chinese theme throughout. It is more a miniature museum - a truly wonderful collection. We had the Russell Albee Executive suite which housed a magnificent 4 poster bed and 2 singles all in separate rooms. This was very spacious and had a large private bathroom.

Breakfast in included and is served with other guests at a fixed time (8.30am). It was a great standard and varied from homemade breakfast loaf to traditional fruit and yogurt.

This is a really special place, and is ran superbly by Dick."
