"Comraderie and Fine Cuisine"
This was our second visit to the Shelburne, and it was gratifying to experience the high standards that you have maintained in all respects. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and the camaraderie of sharing your fine cuisine with the interesting people who were visiting the inn. I should have known better to be writing this letter before dinner because just the thought of those frittatas with the salmon caviar and local wild mushrooms has really got my stomach rumbling. We already are looking forward to our next visit to your inn.

"A Welcome Respite"
What a welcome respite our brief stay at the Shelburne was. As ever – you seem to have all the time in the world to chat with and entertain, yet I know how busy you both are. The dinner ... was superb and thanks for the elegant breakfast, and of course the lovely lodging. I’ll be back!

"Such a Wonderful Experience"
Thanks for helping to make our visit to Washington such a wonderful experience, I can’t even begin to explain how much we enjoyed ourselves. We are both still awe-struck by the natural beauty of the state, the friendship and hospitality we encountered and the magnificent food we were presented with.
